    “spaghetti code” == “lacking a single source of truth”; // like!

    Spaghetti code was common back in the day long before the web, long before OOP, long before event-driven when programs started at the beginning and finished at the end. Spaghetti code meant your program had lots of GOTO’s and other things that meant that if you wanted to trace execution, it meant randomly jumping here and there in the code making it almost impossible to understand what was happening.
